TrustWatt is committed to making our platform accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities.
Our Commitment
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) are the internationally recognised standard for web accessibility. Level AA is the target for most public-facing websites.
We're continuously working to improve accessibility across TrustWatt. This includes:
- Clear, readable text with sufficient colour contrast
- Keyboard navigation for all interactive elements
- Alt text for images where meaningful
- Clear focus indicators for interactive elements
- Logical heading structure
- Form labels and error messages that are clear and helpful
Known Limitations
We're aware that some parts of TrustWatt may not yet fully meet accessibility standards. We're actively working to address these:

How We Test
We test TrustWatt for accessibility using:
- Automated accessibility testing tools
- Manual keyboard navigation testing
- Screen reader testing (VoiceOver, NVDA)
- Colour contrast analysis
We conduct accessibility reviews when launching new features and regularly audit existing pages.
